Blame it on Congress, or Blame It on Evolution, or Blame it on Daylight Savings Time

I'm gonna blame it on stupid-ism:

I present Exhibit A:
(Face Palm!)....even the Article title has a gigantic typo in it....

Let's hope this person has been removed from the gene pool.........Fortunately I believe the article is a hoax (let's hope for humanity's sake!!!).

I'll tell ya one thing I do HATE about Daylight Savings Time in the Spring: There goes the morning light! Getting out to run @ 6:30 or even 6:15 has been great. You can get a long run in before work and still have time for a big breakfast and a long stretch.

Now 6:15 light has turned into 7:15 light.....UHG! Time to rebreakout the head lamp :(

The silver lining though is that TRAINER SEASON IS OVER!!!!! OH HAPPY DANCE!!!! There is now enough light to ride the bike after work. Albeit its gonna be a fast 60 min ride after work, but its no more trainer. Phew!

Thanks everyone for your input from my HELP WANTED post last week. I now have a list of content and posts that will keep me busy for some time. You guys rock!

  2. That article would be hilarious if it weren't so frightening! I hope it's a joke too, the alternative is just too sad to consider.

  3. That article reminded me a t-shirt my uncle has. It read, "You! Out of the gene pool!" haha

Double YAY for biking outside. I haven't gotten out yet, but my new biking shoes are expected this week and the temps are going to break 50, so I am hoping that this is the week.

  5. I LOVE DST! Don't have to run in the dark after work ...lol!

I had a joke about the Title of the article but this is a family blog so I'll chuckle to myself (-:

  6. I get to work at 6:30 anyways haha, so I try to do all my training in the afternoons. Yay for me :)

I get the bloggers block. I still need my blog for accountability. Forces me to stick to the plan. I don't have a coach, it's just me and H. So, I use the Blog world to make me stick to stuff.

Plus, its great free therapy ;)

My suggestions to you, (if you are allowed to) post some snidbits of your work. I LOVE animated movies :)

  7. I don't mind dark mornings like so many others. Darkness at 5:30pm is way to depressing for me! I love the afternoon/evening daylight.

Never did think about the effect it would have on the temps though! Gosh what a valid point...

  8. Agree with Emily:) We don't have DST here so I just have to run in the dark. I love it!
