pushups into spring; peace out winter!

And I signed up for Jeff's @ Dangle The Carrot's "100 Push Up Challenge." I need a good challenge to work other muscles not normally utilized while swimming, biking, or running.

I did my assessment and I was able to do 20 pushups before FAIL. It was 20 unpleasant pushups. I am looking forward to this challenge and THANK YOU! Jeff for hosting this. Its another reminder to finally do some core work on top of pushups.

    I saw Jeff's challenge and decided to join too. I could only do 12 pushups though...uggh! I'm skeptical about being able to do 100, but I guess we'll see!

  2. ive tried this challenge before but only made it like 4 weeks. I dont think my arms can handle 100 push ups.
    but bc of this challenge, i can now do about 12-15 "man" push ups or about 2 sets of 20 of the girlie kind. yay! :) when i started i couldnt even do one man push up and only about 5 of the girl kind.

  4. Don't you love the 10 day outlook on weather.com? I always send that same pic to my coach so she can plan my workout for the week.

    I tried and failed the push up challenge....not for lack of muscle, but lack of brain cells; I could never remember to do it! good luck!

  5. i looked thru some of ur old posts about duathlons.
    As scary as they seem, i am getting really excited.
    i plan on doing a run, bike, run mini workout this weekend. i hope it goes well.
