Better to take a few weeks off than a few months, look what happened to me. I'd see a specialist for sure. We ask so much of our bodies so it's good to have a doc help keep things in working order sometimes.Kristin Bradfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06153520360380713154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-272746327697367079.post-44784070481702059042009-12-22T10:58:34.577-05:002009-12-22T10:58:34.577-05:00You are a wise man. I sometimes get a little ITB issues, which I feel in my knee, so I definitely use the foam roller; it helps A LOT!

good luckReginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09860306741449772444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-272746327697367079.post-38437279440905414262009-12-22T08:25:51.919-05:002009-12-22T08:25:51.919-05:00Wow, what a mature athlete to be able to stop mid ...Wow, what a mature athlete to be able to stop mid run and ice it! It's a pain in the a$$ to use your time to stretch rather than run, but I've learned the hard way that it's well worth the time.

Good call on reducing the miles, kind of sucks though.Pete32https://www.blogger.com/profile/06345622492154973142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-272746327697367079.post-83278349272020951902009-12-21T17:56:23.293-05:002009-12-21T17:56:23.293-05:00Try rolling out your hamstrings all the way to you...Try rolling out your hamstrings all the way to your knee. Sounds like your hamstrings have tightened up-- I had that problem last year, and I really have to stretch alot. Do you have foam roller? Also, an advil or two won't hurt.Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13384272602826948777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-272746327697367079.post-24551803496992576072009-12-21T17:30:57.197-05:002009-12-21T17:30:57.197-05:00Knees are tricky and unless you are willing to go ...Knees are tricky and unless you are willing to go see a specialist, I would lay off training for a while.
